Google Trends Adds Site Comparison Feature

Google Trends added a new website layer to its search analytics tool Friday. The new feature graphs the amount of daily unique visitors to a website and compares it to other sites, demonstrating a window into the highs and lows of web traffic.  When you enter the address of a website into the search box, Trends for Websites shows you a graph reflecting the number of daily unique visitors (the number of people who visit a website) to that website. You can see these numbers on the graph after you’ve signed into your Google Account.  Under the graph, you’ll also see a list of regions where visitors originated from, other websites that they have also visited, and terms they have also searched for.

Which is the world’s fastest browser? According to Zimbra, Safari runs fastest, though it didn’t beat out Firefox by much. Both Safari and Firefox were roughly twice as fast as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 7. Of course, Zimbra was testing for how these browsers perform with the Zimbra Web application.
