Buy.com Reports Best Black Friday in Company History

Leading online retailer Buy.comĀ® today reported its biggest Black Friday — the traditional holiday shopping season kickoff on the day after Thanksgiving — surpassing its Black Friday record set in 2008. Fueling this performance, Buy.com’s Marketplace of third-party retailers had its biggest day ever, accounting for more than 30 percent of Buy.com’s total site orders, with 120 percent more orders compared to last year.

Thanks to the most competitive prices on millions of products, continued retailer additions to Buy.com’s industry-leading Marketplace and new product offerings, shoppers flocked to Buy.com on Black Friday in record-breaking numbers looking for the best online deals.

“Our performance on Black Friday demonstrates that while shoppers are looking for the lowest prices and the best return on their dollar, they also are feeling more confident than last year,” said Neel Grover, Buy.com CEO and President. “Consumers can continue to rely on Buy.com for exclusive deals, free shipping and an enjoyable online shopping experience throughout the holiday season and beyond.”
